CAN I PURCHASE MY LONG-TERM MEDICATION AT A PARTICIPATING RETAIL PHARMACY?

The LM HealthWorks Plan allows you to purchase up to three fills of a long-term medication (such as those used to treat high cholesterol, high blood pressure, depression, or diabetes) at a participating retail pharmacy for your regular coinsurance.

Beginning with the fourth purchase of the same long-term medication at a retail pharmacy, you will pay the lesser of:

  • The total cost of the medication or
  • Your regular coinsurance plus an additional $25

To avoid paying this extra amount, use the CVS Caremark mail order service and you will pay your mail-order coinsurance for up to a 90-day supply of your medication.

You will also be able to pick up 90-day supplies of long-term maintenance medications at a CVS Pharmacy location without incurring additional charges.
