CAN I CONTINUE TO "OPT OUT" OF MEDICAL COVERAGE WITH THE LM HEALTHWORKS PLAN?

Yes, as an active employee you are able to "opt out" or elect no coverage for any or all benefits. Post-tax benefits can be elected at any time, pre-tax benefits can be added with a qualifying life event (QLE) or during Annual Enrollment each year.

QLEs are certain changes in your life, family or work status that can affect your benefit needs, known as Qualified Life Events (QLEs), may occur at any time during the year. These qualifying changes, which are specified by the IRS, may allow you to change your benefit elections during the year. Examples of life and family events are birth, marriage or a spouse losing coverage.

These events are reported to the company by you either online or by speaking with a Customer Service Representative at the Lockheed Martin Employee Service Center at 866-562-2363, or 800-833-8334 for the hearing impaired, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time. International employees may call 201-242-4397
You can also visit the Employee Service Center Online through LMPeople at https://lmpeople.lmco.com via the Intranet or https://www.lmpeople.com via the Internet. Under Pay and Benefits click on LM Employee Service Center and click on My Health.
